One of St. David's oldest and happiest family affairs is the annual picnic. This year it will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Brady Park Pavilion from 11 am to 4 pm. As always, St. David's will supply hot dogs, buns, condiments, beverages and watermelon. You will demonstrate your culinary talents by supplying appetizers, salads, and desserts. Names beginning with A-M bring appetizer or salad. Names beginning with N-Z bring dessert. In each case, bring enough to feed six to eight people. There will be supervised games for the children, and Bocce balls, shuffleboard and Horseshoes are available on a first come, first served basis. This may seem to be a rather early notice for the picnic, but the June Herald would give you little more than a week to put aside the date. Therefore, mark your calendar NOW! Look for reservation forms with detailed information in the parking lot lobby by May 20th.
